Project Quantity Surveyor Required in South EssexReady to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Salary: Dependant on experienceLength: PermanentLocation: South EssexProject: Distribution WarehouseStart: ASAPVenn Group are currently looking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor based on site in South Essex to manage a major Distribution Warehouse project.Day to day duties include:Maximise the commercial position of the project for whilst maintaining positive Client relationshipsUtilise expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management to drive project successTake a lead role in the valuation process where applicable including ensure valuations and invoices are issued on timeProducing all pre-construction tender documents and conducting all procurement responsibilities such as tender meetings and analysis for selection of contractorsConduct thorough analysis of project specifications, materials, and labour costs to provide accurate forecasts and reportsNegotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing Monitor project progress, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing proactive solutionsThe successful candidate will have:Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction related DegreePrevious experience working on civils project
