They are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Dudley on a permanent basis.The Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:An educational or hands-on background in Mechanical Engineering/Sales EngineeringHave a varied skillset, with knowledge of Project Management, Design and SalesExperience within an Engineering environment is necessary for this role. Experience within Special Purpose Machinery would be advantageous.Experience with quotationsAble to manage projects from concept through to manufacture and installationTechnical Engineering knowledge to understand quotations and queriesPrevious experience supporting customers in a similar technical / sales role would be beneficialExcellent customer-service skillsConfident and driven for career progressionExcellent communication skills are requiredBe self-motivated and drivenBe keen to develop as part of an organisation long termThe Technical Sales Engineer role will involve:Providing technical support and supporting technical delivery of the company’s products and servicesCommunicating with customers, responding to enquiries, and liaising with external sales teamsBeing involved in concept design and producing technical drawingsLiaising with manufacturing providersBeing involved in final assembly of productsCreating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plansUpdating 3D models and drawingsHandling queries and providing quotations to progress further sales opportunitiesWorking with the Projects Team to convert client requirements into details designs and technical instructionsProcessing purchase orders onto the MRP systemIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
