It forms the link between the Group sponsors and the asset managers,- captive as well as external - for the asset class.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the continuous review and development of the Infrastructure Equity Investment StrategyPreparing analysis and recommendations for the top management and the Group Alternative Investment Committee on all matters related to the infrastructure asset classIn-depth analysis of investment proposals for direct equity investments in the infrastructure asset class (brownfield and greenfield) in sub-sectors such as (but not limited to) energy, communication and transport proposed by our asset managersIdentify infrastructure investment opportunities in the market to enable the company to reach its Net Zero Carbon commitments and overarching ESG targets, most notably to help drive the energy transitionManage relationships with captive and external asset managersFollow in numerous ways overall market developments in the asset class and search for additional investment opportunities to complement the activities of the captive manager to ensure that a broad range of infrastructure sub-sectors is coveredMonitoring, analyzing and steering the global portfolio within the infrastructure asset classSupporting investors and other stakeholders with regard to portfolio management, steering, planning and strategy implementationKey Requirements / Experience / SkillsStrong academic background (university degree in business administration or economics) with a focus on finance/investments/valuationDeep interest in and affinity for investments, esp. for alternative investmentsAt least 3 years of experience in investment management or asset management, ideally in the renewables / clean energy / infrastructure spaceExperience in carrying out due diligence on infrastructure investment managers preferredExcellent analytical and implementation skillsAbility to work under tight deadlinesStrong team player
