The Geosciences team provides consultancy and design services to clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. Due to growth and new projects, Travis Baker needs an experienced Geo-Environmental Engineer to support a varied workload. Details of the position are as follows: Responsibilities: Participate in geo-environmental projects for external clients and internal teams Assist with ground investigations and desk studies Conduct soil logging according to UK standards, including laboratory scheduling Perform soil sampling and water monitoring/sampling Write factual and interpretative reports Geotechnical reporting experience is beneficial Knowledge of contaminated land legislation and reporting Travel within the UK to other offices and sites as needed Qualifications and Experience: BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science, or similar MSc is desirable but not essential Working towards membership of a relevant professional body with a goal toward chartership Basic knowledge of planning legislation Experience in site inspections and reporting, preferably on residential developments Ability to complete factual and interpretative assessments at a basic level Capability to deliver projects within a multidisciplinary consultancy Effective time and resource management skills Full UK driving license Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Contributory Pension Scheme Free life assurance Flexible benefits including additional holidays and private healthcare RSK Group is an Equal Opportunities Employer. #Engineering #Environmental #rskfamily Note:RSK will not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies other than RSK PSL or Secondary agencies.
