Whatever your reasons, we have a role for you.We're looking for full-time, Class 2 Day Driver to join us at our site in Huthwaite. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.What You'll Do:As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be an integral part of our team, delivering high-quality service to customers while maintaining safety and efficiency.Safely operating the delivery vehicle and ensuring it meets all VOSA regulationsConducting thorough vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and complianceDelivering a variety of kitchen unitsManaging multidrop deliveries, with varying stops each dayInteracting directly with customers, offering a professional, friendly, and positive experienceHandling home deliveries, where you may need to transport items to customer's roomsPerforming kerbside deliveries at building sitesUsing a handheld scanner and completing necessary paperwork accuratelyWhat We Need from You:Class 2 (HGV 2) Licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph CardA clean driving record with no more than six penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsementsMultidrop delivery experienceExcellent knowledge of the UK road networkA positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer serviceThis is a physically demanding role, so a strong level of fitness is required. But don't worry - you'll never be alone!
