This perfectly positions us for shipping allowing us to make the best use of our equipment.Main responsibilities of a Freight Forwarder / Freight Forwarding:Planning and arranging collections and deliveries - LogisticsLiaising with customers, carriers, suppliers, shipping lines, port authorities etc. by telephone, email etcObtaining the necessary paperwork, Bill of ladings etcAdmin / Administration support to all partiesData input / Data entry and general adminSkills and qualities:Previous experience in Airfreight and general forwardingKnowledge of customs declarations in freight forwarding/logistics is an advantageAbility to work under pressure (deadlines), independently and within a teamAttention to detail, competent in Microsoft, Outlook, and ability to learn new proceduresBe driven and self-motivatedYou must be able to work under your own initiative to find solutions for complicated logistics movements from start to finishAt times you are responsible for your own profitabilityEssential ExperienceWe are looking for someone who has experience as an Airfreight Forwarder / within this field.
