Offering a salary of 65-70K depending on experience Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.If you are interested in this role, please APPLY NOW via the job board The Role: Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with sustainability goals and regulatory requirementsEnsure continued compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management SystemsAdvise management on compliance requirements regarding applicable UK and EU legislation, ensuring required complianceConduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actionsLead incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and documentation of findings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE best practices and regulatory compliance.Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics to drive continuous improvementFoster a "Speak Up" culture where employees feel safe to raise concerns and contribute to a safe working environmentStay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and innovation in HSSE practicesSuitable Candidate: Experienced HSE Manager ideally from a chemical manufacturing background - will consider other industries NEBOSH Diploma in occupational safety and health Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management - as a minimum Internal Auditor - ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels Strong understanding of mechanical and process hazards and controls Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment
