Quality & Student Outcomes – Drive improvements in teaching, learning, and assessment to exceed national benchmarks, track student progress, and take swift action on underperformance. Team & Performance Management – Oversee staff development, recruitment, and performance, ensuring consistent implementation of curriculum strategies and college policies. Teaching & Professional Practice – Deliver a fractional teaching timetable, uphold awarding body standards, and support the implementation of innovative, inclusive teaching strategies. College Engagement & Compliance – Represent the department across campuses, support events and safeguarding, and ensure compliance with statutory duties, health and safety, and equality policies.About YouEssential Qualifications & Experience – Degree in Health, Science, or related field, with a teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed), GCSEs in English and Maths, and proven success in teaching and leadership roles within Further Education. Leadership & Team Management – Demonstrated ability to lead and manage professional teams, set and achieve goals, and implement quality assurance systems to drive performance and improvement. Student-Centred Approach – Committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences, fostering a supportive environment, and promoting equality, diversity, and safeguarding in all aspects of the role.
