You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you’ll do at workYour duties include: Comply with health and safety regulations and support activities to improve safer working Complete check sheets while monitoring machines and equipment data Identify and solve issues in the manufacturing environment within their responsibility, escalating them when necessary Adhere and develop Standard operation Procedures (SOPs) Work with your team and communicate to ensure continuous improvement Resolve machine stoppages Achieve OEE and waste targets Set the machine to production recipes Preparing raw materials for production Replenishing packaging and films to the production line during the shift including the stacking of trays Set up batches of production as per the production plan Manual handling including the stacking of finished goods Carry out any other reasonable duties associated with the role as required No under 18s due to night shift insurances. This will prepare the learner for End Point Assessment that is required for this Apprenticeship To complete this Apprenticeship, the learner must pass Level 1 English and maths (or have the appropriate transferable skills). They must also at least take the test for Level 2 RequirementsDesired qualificationsGCSE or equivalent English, Maths and Science (Grade 4/C and above) desirableLet the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
