They are known for delivering City-level service without the corporate edge offering an approachable, collaborative culture with a strong focus on client care.Renowned for their modern and commercially minded approach, the firm is now seeking a Salaried Partner to join their respected Private Client team.This is a strategic hire, forming part of the firms succession planning, with a clear pathway to take over from the current Head of Department/ Equity Partner in the short term.The Role This is a hands-on, strategic leadership position, with real long-term scope supporting the HOD/ Partner in managing the team and growing the department.Key responsibilities as follows:Co-leading the department with the HOD/Partner, driving team development, motivation, and performance.Leading and managing a team of 5, including senior Associates and Trainees, to meet and exceed targets & client care standards.Managing a full caseload while building your own profitable client base.There is a busy caseload and clients to manage, driving business development to grow the practice is a strong focus and a BD-focused mindset is key.Leading complex matters, including wills, trusts, estate administration, tax planning, succession, and wealth transfer.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and agreements.Acting as a trusted ambassador with clients and contacts.Maintaining strong relationships with external institutions and local organisations.Providing clear, consistent updates to Equity Partners.Promoting operational excellence and best practices across the team.Who they are looking for:A Senior Private Client UK qualified Solicitor with 9-14 + PQE, although open to experienced individuals with excellent BD and leadership experience.Experience in all aspects of private client work wills, probate, trusts, succession planning, tax planning, and wealth transfer.Strong understanding and exposure to financial remediesA confident leader, who is a natural mentor.Commercially minded with a proven track record in business developmentSomeone who enjoys building a team and client base a growth mindset is essentialCollaborative, strategic, and someone who is lookng to make their mark becoming part of the firm's long-term strategy.What they offer:Opportunity for EquityGenerous leaveHybrid working (3 days in office / 2 from home)PensionDiscretionary bonus schemeEnhanced paid sick leaveAnnual salary reviewsIf you're an experienced Private Client Partner or Senior Associate ready to step up, excited by the idea of leading and growing a well-regarded department please contact me as follows:Jo Cokayne at jo@lrlegal.co.uk or call for a confidential discussion on 0208 078 9236 (office hours) or 07925104795 (out of office hours).LR Legal is a specialist legal recruitment agency with a reputation based on trust and integrity.
