The main purpose of this role is to drive the efficiency and productivity in the factory, whilst managing the labour budget and driving the food safety and health and safety culture forward.This is a fixed term contract from July 2025 January 2026.Main responsibilities:Strong leadership, overseeing all production requirements through Production Shift ManagersProduction team circa 100 staff over three shiftsPerformance related KPI reportsAttend production related meetingsOverseeing project data gathering and implementationsAd hoc staffing issuesProactively driving continuous improvement programmeGuidance and mentorship of Production Shift Manager and wider teamProduction related Health and Safety oversightProduction related Food safety oversightHygiene oversightIdentify any effectiveness and efficiency improvement opportunities and strategize corrective actions plansWorking closely with Interim Head of Production, Facilities Manager, Technical Manager and senior Management team.Reporting into the Interim Head of Production and Operations Director.Person specification/Qualifications/Capabilities:Proven experience in food production Management.
