We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and able to work as part of a team, you will be joining a supportive team and training will be provided.Due to the nature of the role, support workers are required to have a flexible approach to cover duty rota as necessary, a typical rota includes early shifts / late shifts and you must be willing to work evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays and sleep ins - enhancements are paid on top of the basic salary, additional hours/ overtime may also be available on top of the contacted hours!Responsibilities - Supporting people with a learning disability in their own homes and enabling them to live as independent a life as possible. To work as part of a team or independently in a range of community settings Enabling and encouraging tenants to undertake daily living skills including cooking, and other household tasks. Providing practical, personal, and emotional support, including intimate personal care. Administering medications in line with the Directorate's policy and procedures.
