KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE HOME BASED SCOTLAND, TRAVEL UK / SOME TRAVEL TO EUROPE AND SOUTH AFRICASALARY AND PACKAGE £45-55,000 BASE PLUS GENEROUS OTE AND COMPANY CARGrw Talent’s client has a rich history making textiles in Scotland since the late 1800s. Today, they are a vibrant fast growing international industrial and technical textiles company with production bases in Scotland, USA and China. The company and partners are part of a huge investment plan to consolidate two Scottish sites into one new super facility in Dundee. This will pave the way to grow from over 100 heads in Scotland to c600 and to push for turnover towards £500m.To help facilitate this growth the business is looking to recruit a Key Account Executive to join an existing team and protect and serve key clients in their Filtration and Paper verticals. Sound training and development and a clear route to KAM then Director level roles awaits.Reporting to the Key Account Manager, the Key Account Executive will inherit a well performing and regular ARR business unit capable of turning over c£4m per annum. Working closely with the Senior Sales Leadership team, you will help build and then execute a protect, serve and grow account strategy. Largely covering existing customers in filtration products and paper; this will mean UK travel, some trips into mainland Europe (Germany) and South Africa. You will also liaise and support distributors in Japan and internal supply from Scottish and Chinese manufacturing plants. Key responsibilities will include:Support/serve strategic customer partnerships with key customersEnsure first class customer service and key account management that protects wallet share, whilst “mining” for new opportunities to grow wallet shareNegotiate and steer the international customer business and cooperate actively with other global sales and business colleagues to develop and build long-term customer partnershipsSteer the key account business from negotiating pricing and terms, contracting, to steering the in-time shipment, invoicing and paymentsSupport members of the KAM team in tactical and strategic topics with the customers, also by common visits and negotiationsCooperation and common meetings with stakeholders of Sales, Marketing, R&D, Business Planning, Customer Service and Supply Planning Analysing and reporting the business development on customer, sector, and key account levelAttendance at key tradeshows and events to grow the brand and support new logo acquisition.Educated to degree calibre in a business or technical discipline, we are looking for highly ambitious, hungry, confident and polished professional business / sales development or key account executives, looking to push into enterprise level Key Account Management and sales leadership thereafter. This will suit a professionally trained sales person used to protecting wallet share, driving value and providing excellent customer service in a technical or engineered products environment. We would be especially keen to hear from candidates working with international customers in defence, renewable energy, industrial textile / chemicals, automotive or aerospace environments.This represents an unparalleled opportunity for Business Development, Sales and Key Account professionals to join an incredible global journey.
