By joining them, you'll enjoy:Developing and implementing Quality Management Systems for CNC machined component manufacturingLeading and mentoring the small quality inspection team, fostering a culture of excellenceConducting audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standardsRepresenting the company as Quality subject matter expert during ISO external auditsWorking closely with customers to overcome engineering quality challenges, developing new standards togetherCollaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiativesCoordinating the measurement of components produced by highly skilled engineers who are using a mix of brand new, state of the art CNC lathes, CNC mills and CNC grinding machinesEasy access to all the tooling and equipment you will need to do your best workEncouraging Director assistance and backing always availableYour department having access to a full suite of well-maintained metrology tools and equipment from micrometers and gauges to CMMs to check the quality of precision engineered CNC machined components which will eventually be used in advanced technologies, making life changing differences for many peopleSmart, modern, clean, well organised and well-equipped shop floorLong term job security, working for a company creating their own original products for a range of specialist applicationsJoining a growing, forward-looking company where regular and continuous investment in the future is an important part of what they doWhat experience will you need as the new Quality Manager?The Directors are open to considering your application whether you're relatively early in your leadership level Quality career or if you've held a lead Quality role for some time.Either way, youll be an experienced Quality Lead, comfortable directing Quality efforts in a CNC machining, precision engineering environment.You'll have had exposure to handling non-conforming parts and producing non-conformance reports, working very closely and regularly meeting with customers to work through engineering challenges together.As an experienced Quality Leader youll know this already, but to be clear, youll be confident in understanding complex engineering drawings and in appreciating the capabilities of the precision inspection equipment being used by your department to check dimensions of machined metal components to include gauges, micrometers, vernier callipers, microscopes, shadowgraphs, CMM and similar equipment.You'll be an encouraging communicator with a gift for building positive relationships with colleagues, with direct reports and with customers too. You don't need to know how to program a CMM because they have people who do, but you will need to be able to use one confidently if ever needed.
