This includes being responsible for the conception, planning, setup, and technical hands-on support of all Databases.As the Lead Oracle DBA, you must be proficient across a number of different Database platforms, specifically Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, and you must have experience in managing both on-premise and cloud-based database platforms.Skills And ExperienceExtensive experience in Oracle 19 database technologies in a 3rd line support and technical design capacity, including Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM Grid to manage and optimise the database estate.Experience with Oracle in a Windows environmentExpertise with analysing Oracle database platforms to identify performance or reliability improvements or to debug complex operational incidents.Broad knowledge of the market within Database Technologies with in-depth knowledge of leading quadrant.Expert working knowledge of the design and administration of Oracle database administration and Oracle Enterprise Manager or MS SQL Server.Good experience of Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS) focused on design, configuration, deployment, and operation of Database platformsSolid experience of designing and implementing appropriate, efficient, and effective database solutionsBroad knowledge of IT Security best practices, with particular emphasis on the MOD standards and accreditation process.MUST have Active SC ClearanceNext Steps If you have the relevant skills and experience for this role, and hold active SC clearance, please apply with your CV, and I will endeavour to get back to you.£710.00/dayTalent International UK and its subsidiaries, Digital Gurus, Infinite Talent, and Rethink act as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
