We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented Evaluation Technician to join our dynamic team at the forefront of transmission and E-Drive development. Whether you're taking apart a gearbox or test-driving the latest electric vehicle system, no two days will be the same.What Youll Need to SucceedWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds who meet the following qualifications:Completed Apprenticeship in Mechanical / Vehicle Repair (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)Strong understanding of vehicle systems and general computer literacyFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel & AccessA valid UK driving licenceGreat teamwork and communication skillsSelf-motivated with a proactive mindsetWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of transmission systems or vehicle repairs is an advantageExperience with 5S workplace organisation and FLT/Work Saver use is a plusOpen to training in the handling of Electric VehiclesWhat Youll Be DoingYoull play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. Your day-to-day could include:Teardown and rebuild of transmissions and E-DrivesTesting transmission functions both on the bench and in-vehicleCondcting evaluations and inspections to engineering specsRepresenting Ford at customer drive appraisal eventsSupporting torque calibration, TDL inspections, and dirt content checksPerforming tasks aligned with warranty and CIW claimsMaintaining a clean, organised workspace following 5S principlesWhy Join Us?We dont just build world-class vehicles we also build careers.
