At AM London Fashion Ltd, we believe fashion should be a force for good, and we are dedicated to shaping a future where style and sustainability go hand in hand.We are now recruiting for a Quality Control Technician - this role will be primarily based out of our two warehouses (Ashton and Bolton) with some requirement to visit our Head Office in Stretford, Manchester.Key roles and responsibilities:Carry out QC Checks on stock that arrives at the warehouseChecking cartons per styleMeasure size garments according to size specificationCompleting relevant paperworkChecking care labels have the correct information reporting any issues to relevant team at HQComparing bulk stock to Gold Seals sent from factory to the office.Update QC Tracker upon completion of checksUpdate QC Tracker with new styles that are due inCarry out AQL Checks upon finding issues with stockFill in carton compliance report and flag any issues found to LogisticsUpdate Monthly Supplier Log with styles completed that weekSend Monthly Supplier Log to all relevant partiesCollect sample requests from the warehouseMake note of all issues that have been alerted by Garment TechsCommunicate appropriately with any visitors to the warehouseSkills required:Minimum of 2 years in a similar quality control environment within a fashion business would be an advantageYou will be working between two warehouses and head office, so access to good transport networks / or a driving license would be required.What we can offer you:25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, plus your birthday offGenerous 40% staff discount and sample sales25% friends and family discountLength of Service AwardsEnhanced Maternity and Paternity pay
