Were recruiting for a dynamic, independent position.This is not your typical desk-based job its a rare opportunity to become the sole ecological lead in an organisation making a tangible impact on the environment across a wide range of sites.What Youll Be Doing:Work closely with arborists, environmental teams, and drone survey specialistsAnalyse data and contribute to planning and compliance with biodiversity legislationConduct ecological site surveys, habitat assessments, and protected species workProduce high-quality PEAs, EcIAs, BNG reports, and ecological management plansAct as Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) on infrastructure projectsThe Role Includes:Company vehicle + fuel cardAll travel, overnight accommodation, and site expenses are fully coveredAccess to drone survey data to support your fieldworkRegular travel across the UK, with a base near the SoutheastA mix of field, remote and occasional office work (hybrid-friendly)About You:Degree in Ecology or related fieldCIEEM membership (minimum ACIEEM or working toward)Strong report writing and project delivery skillsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensivelyExperience with protected species and ecological consultancy is a bonusThe Offer:Up to 38,000, depending on experienceCompany pension schemeSupportive team culture with autonomy and room to growProgression OpportunitiesSupport and Upskilling
