Role: Head of Surgical ServicesWant to apply Read all the information about this position below, then hit the apply button.Salary: Up to 80,000 (depending on experience)Location: LondonHours: 37.5 (Full-time) Permanent, FlexibleA exceptional private hospital based within a beautiful area of Central London is looking for an experienced Head of Surgical Services to join their great team.Requirements:Nursing or ODP degree-level qualificationValid NMC or HCPC pin with no restrictions.Relevant experience in surgical setting including Theatres, Recovery and Endoscopy.Evidence of involvement in project managementExperience of quality improvement, audit and standard settingProven management and leadership abilityMain Duties:Demonstrate professional leadership and management across all theatres, endoscopy and recovery departmentsProvide oversight in relation to use of equipment, processes and training and competency of staff working within the Minor Procedures Suite in OPDDevelop Policies and Procedures that ensure patient safety and quality agenda are in line with the Hospitals policies and procedures, and staff accept ownership of theseTo Identify personal training objectives in line with annual personal development plansMaintain a programme of rolling replacement for key equipment where required and identify where new equipment is required in line with the Consultant and specialty strategyManage trials of theatre equipment and consumables in accordance with hospital policiesParticipate in the tendering processWork alongside the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Team to review medical devices incidents across the organisation to improve reporting and learning from theseFor more information and a full job description please call Stonor Medical on 01604 969007 Alternatively, as an expression of interest please email your CV to recruitment@stonormedical.com.
