Role: ODP (Operating Department Practitioner)The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.Location: EssexFull-timeSalary: Up to 40,000 (depending on experience)A fantastic private hospital in Essex is recruiting for an experienced ODP to join their growing team. Main Duties:Maintain individualised nursing/ODP care according to guidance provided by the senior nursing/ODP staff, management and consultants.Provide assistance to the surgeon/anaesthetist/nursing/ODP colleagues as required.Administration of controlled drugs.Work alongside appropriate departmental and ward staff in sending patients to the operating department and returning patients to their wards.Participating in pre and post-operative visits when required.The post holder will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of how to use equipment safely and effectively.Requirements:Must be a qualified ODP with valid HCPC pin with no restrictionsAt least 2 years of UK theatre hospital experienceHave strong experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery.Benefits:Fantastic Pension schemeGenerous Annual leaveCareer developmentPrivate health insuranceFor more information about the role, please call Stonor Medical on 01604 969007As an expression of interest, please email your CV to: recruitment@stonormedical.com
