Were on the lookout for a QA Engineer to join us part-time, to embed quality in what we deliver, catch what others miss, and build long term testing assets for our projects.Who You AreProactive & Resourceful: You see opportunities for positive change, and act on it. You speak up when things need fixing.Experience in QA or a Computer Science-related degree is helpful, but not essential.What matters most is your passion for tech & growth, and a desire to learn.Tools you will use and will be trained with (not exhaustive)Playwright: Youll learn how to write automated end-to-end tests using Playwright. Well provide training in JavaScript to get you to a confident level, even if youre new to it.ClickUp: To log, reproduce, and manage bugs as part of our product delivery process, tracking QA insights, and collaborating with the team.GitLab: To collaborate on projects, pull test environments, and follow changes made to the platforms. Youll also be responsible for ensuring that tests you create also work in our automated continuous integration process, ensuring they are ran on every code changeNotion: For documentation.What youll be doing...Creating Confidence:We move fast, but quality cant be optional. Youll keep our drumbeat of delivery solid by:Testing new features across devices and browsers to catch bugs before users doRunning checklists and regression tests to keep our releases cleanSpotting inconsistencies, strange behaviour, or anything that just doesnt feel rightCollaborating with developers to flag issues clearly and suggest improvements.Experimenting & Innovating:You wont just follow test scripts, youll push boundaries by:Playing with edge cases, weird inputs, and unexpected user pathsExploring new tools or automation frameworks to speed things upUsing AI-powered testing or smart debugging tools to go deeper, fasterBringing your own ideas on how we can improve quality and reliabilityBuilding reusable and automated test suites - every hour you invest in QA, must be an hour creating a reusable asset for that projectGrowing with us:Were a small, ambitious team, and your growth is part of our plan.
