Civil Engineer with design experience (AutoCAD and Revit) required to join an independent company, working on a range of high voltage schemes, including substations and new connections / grid integration.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Responsibilities:Design of civil engineering infrastructure for various HV renewable energy projects (substations, cables etc), ensuring adherence to industry standards, company code of practice and client requirementsBe responsible for document control of civil engineering drawingsShow an understanding of architectural and structural detailing (including concrete reinforcement) and be able to do this using RevitProduce design briefsOffer technical support across project lifecycleManage external design resource when used, ensuring technical compliance Design review to ensure work produced is in line with industry standards, legislation and scope of worksFinancial management of civil engineering portion of projectsExperience and Qualifications:Background as a Civil Design Engineer with strong knowledge of Eurocodes and experience using Revit and AutoCADDegree (or equivalent) in Civil EngineeringDriving licenceThis is an opportunity for a suitably experienced Civil Design Engineer to join a friendly team and put their stamp on the civil engineering design aspect of their work.
