This is an exciting opportunity to join a premium food manufacturer with a strong European heritage, known for its high-quality bakery products.With operations across Europe and North America, the business is growing rapidly in the UK and has ambitious plans for further expansion. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing the commercial strategy across London and the South East, a key growth region for the business.Why This Role? As Senior National Account Manager, youll play a dual role: leading a team of Business Development Managers while also taking direct ownership of a portfolio of prestigious national end-user accounts.Youll inspire and guide a team of 4 BDMs, supporting them to develop new business and strengthen relationships across the region. At the same time, youll personally manage national hotel and restaurant groups, airlines, and contract caterers such as Gordon Ramsay Group, Pizza Express, Zizzi, Dishoom, Hilton Hotels, Radisson Hotels, and British Airways.This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys both leading teams and being hands-on with customer relationships, combining leadership, strategic account development, and cross functional working.Key ResponsibilitiesTake direct ownership of a portfolio of National Account end-user customersLead, coach and develop a team of 4 Business Development Managers across the South EastBuild and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with ambitious growth targetsDrive new business opportunities and strengthen long-term client partnershipsWork closely with national clients across hospitality, hotels, airlines, and contract cateringCollaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to deliver tailored customer solutionsRepresent the region at a senior level and contribute to wider commercial planningWho You AreA proven sales leader with experience in both team management and national account developmentBackground in foodservice, hospitality, or catering sectorsStrategic and commercially focused, with a hands-on approach to customer relationshipsSkilled at managing and motivating high-performing sales teamsExperienced in working with complex, multi-site national customersConfident influencing internal and external stakeholders at senior levelSalary & Benefits60,000 to 65,000 basic salary, 20% bonus, company car or 7,000 car allowance, healthcare, pension, and 33 days holiday.LocationHome-based role with regular travel across the South of England and easy access to the London head office.ContactFor more information, please contact Aidan Goodall on 01943 667280 or via aidan@fmcgselection.co.uk
