Your focus will be on ensuring cost-effective purchasing, developing supplier relationships, and optimising inventory to support operational efficiency.Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.Key Responsibilities:Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, and service reliabilityNegotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to drive cost savings and secure supply continuityRaise and manage purchase orders, tracking deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materialsBuild and maintain strong supplier partnerships to enhance service levels and performanceCollaborate with internal departments-engineering, production, and aftersales-to align sourcing with technical and operational needsMonitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, or deliveryAnalyse usage trends and forecasts to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventoryPartner with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiencyIdentify cost-reduction opportunities and support ongoing budget management Criteria;Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally within a Manufacturing or Engineering environmentProficiency in ERP/MRP systems and purchasing processes.
