Job overviewWe are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our Clinical Informatics Team in a job share capacity (2.5 days per week) as a Band 8a pharmacist on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based at the Royal London Hospital and will play a key role in the Trust-wide optimisation of clinical systems, ensuring efficiency and excellence in patient care. Interview date: 9th July 2025 Main duties of the jobThe post holder will assist the Lead Pharmacist, Informatics with the development and optimisation of electronic prescribing within the Trust, in conjunction with the Head of IT Projects and the EPR team. They will assist with the implementation of any new digital medicines’ initiatives and support the pharmacy team in developing, validating and maintaining the wider pharmacy digital systems operated by the department. They will ensure patient safety, security of access, system availability and that data accuracy is delivered by the system(s) and meets the requirements of the Trust, its patients and clinical staff.
