Thispost will provide an excellent grounding in general Dietetics and anopportunity to gain an insight into various specialties across the Trust,including; Stroke, Diabetes, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Surgery, WeightManagement and Nutrition Support. Main duties of the jobYouwill provide a service to adult inpatients and outpatients within BarnsleyHospital NHS Foundation Trust, working closely with the support of a dedicatedacute team. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience and trainingfrom specialist Dietitians and will receive shadowing experience in otherspecialist areas within the department. Thepost holder will be provided with regular clinical supervision and extensiveCPD opportunities and excellent clerical support. The acute role will involve avariety of acute medical and surgical wards as well as an outpatient generalclinic at the hospital. Thedepartment supports training to A, B and C placement dietetic students. Thepost holder will be expected to be involved in the clinical teaching andassessments of students on placement, and training will be provided.
