A leading beauty and personal care brand is currently seeking a Junior Packaging Technologist to join their dynamic team based in Cheltenham.This is an excellent opportunity to build a career within the fast-paced world of beauty product development. Youll be supported by experienced professionals and exposed to a wide variety of packaging projects from year-round core ranges to seasonal gifting collections.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development, testing and implementation of packaging solutions for new beauty products.Support packaging-related elements of NPD projects from concept through to launch.Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners, including those overseas, to ensure packaging is production-ready.Contribute to packaging sustainability initiatives in line with business goals.Help maintain packaging documentation, including technical specifications and testing reports.Participate in cost-saving and packaging optimisation projects.Attend regular cross-functional meetings and support project teams with technical insight.Key Requirements:A degree (or equivalent) in Packaging, Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical discipline.Previous experience in packaging development (placement or post-grad) is a plus, but not essential.Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on, proactive approach.Strong communication skills able to work effectively with internal teams and global suppliers.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
