They are hiring Maintenance Operatives to join their in-house teams at various sites. These are static positions, and the working pattern is 5 days over 7 on a rota, typically working 1 weekend per month (with two days off during the week).Your new roleAs a Maintenance Operative, you will be working within a student accommodation site as part of the in-house maintenance team. Duties will include:Painting & decoratingTiling (replacing loose/lost tiles etc.)Patch plasteringBasic carpentry (minor door repairs, handles, frames etc.)Basic plumbing (changing taps, leaks etc.)General handyperson duties (putting in kitchen appliances etc.)What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role you will require relevant experience in carrying out maintenance works, ideally within a commercial property environment. You will also require:Experience in some or most of the above listed dutiesCustomer service skillsBe organised, punctual and reliableWhat you'll get in returnWhen successful in securing this role you will receive a permanent contract with a leading student accommodation provider in London.
