Lead one of the UKs busiest fresh produce sites with a strong focus on potatoes. At Myton Food Group, we supply a wide range of fresh produce to a diverse customer base including major retailers, foodservice providers, and other commercial partners. Our Gadbrook site is a high-performing, fast-paced operation, handling multiple fresh categories with a core focus on fresh and prepared potatoes, alongside stone fruit and grapes.A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.This site alone produces over 1 million packs each week, processing more than 62,000 tonnes annually, and manages a daily pick operation of around 40,000 baskets for one of our biggest customers. As we continue to grow, were looking for a Site Manager with the experience, energy and leadership to take the site to the next level - particularly someone with deep expertise in potatoes, from field to fork.What youll do:Own the full site operation, from raw material intake to finished goods despatch ensuring safety, efficiency and great quality every step of the way Lead and develop high-performing teams across Production, Technical, Engineering and Hygiene Champion best-in-class standards across safety, service, people and cost Build and maintain a culture where people thrive, collaborate, and consistently deliver for a broad mix of customers Drive continuous improvement, leveraging automation, data, and lean ways of working Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to support growth, innovation and future investment Play a lead role in launching new products and delivering CAPEX projects Be a subject matter expert for potato handling, processing and quality - ensuring we get it right, every time
