Product ManagerDo not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.Are you passionate about sport and driven by building commercially successful product ranges?Do you thrive on spotting market trends and shaping products that excite global consumers?Can you lead product development from concept to launch in a fast-moving, competitive environment?MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a leading global sports company on the search for a Product Manager, based in Hertfordshire, UK.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with a diverse product portfolio across licensed and own-brand sports equipment, apparel, and accessories, supplying major retailers worldwide.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute product strategies that align with the businesss growth ambitions and market needs. Build roadmaps, pricing strategies, and product positioning to drive differentiation and commercial performance. Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and new opportunities. Use insights to guide product planning and inform development decisions. Manage the full product development process, collaborating closely with Design, Sourcing, and Sales teams from concept through to launch and lifecycle management. Own the critical path for key product ranges, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and margin targets are met. Work cross-functionally to plan and execute product launches across global markets, including supporting Marketing and Sales teams with product content and go-to-market materials. Analyse product performance - tracking sales, profitability, and consumer feedback. And use data to inform future range decisions and continuous improvement. Stay informed on relevant industry trends and licensing requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.What We're Looking For:Minimum of 5 years experience in a product management role, ideally within sports, lifestyle, or consumer products. Strong understanding of product development processes, commercial planning, and lifecycle management. Proven ability to drive product ranges that deliver sales growth and brand equity. Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Experience working with licensed products and/or international markets is advantageous but not essential.
