This permanent role offers the chance to engage with senior stakeholders, influence business decisions, and shape governance across a fast-moving, tech-driven environment.The role is varied and no days are the same but will include:Advising on IT legal matters including software licensing, cybersecurity, and tech procurementLeading on data privacy, GDPR compliance, and data governance policiesDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial and technology contractsProviding strategic legal input on digital innovation, compliance, and business riskIdentify and assess legal risks related to IT systems, cybersecurity, and software usage, providing practical guidance to minimize exposureAssisting with disputes relating to IT systems and commercial contracts, and managing outside counselContributing to the design and implementation of internal policies and frameworks, particularly in IT governance, data protection, and contract management.Collaborating cross-functionally with tech, compliance, and operational teamsWhat were looking for:UK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQESolid experience in IT law, data protection (GDPR), and commercial contractsDriven, collaborative, and solutions-focusedOn offer is an excellent base salary, car allowance, 25% bonus and a generous employer pension contribution.
