Required commitment is that you bring in your passion for advancing energy sustainability, your desire to work on difficult problems pushing the limits, your willingness to value team success beyond your own, and your unwavering positive attitude towards sustained hard work.Key activities:Lead day-to-day activities of construction phase managing Stakeholders, Contractors and Sub-Contractors.Develop and manage a team to execute project scope including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and ProcessCoordinate all contractors activities and lead resolution of field construction problemsCommunicates/liaise with operations during system installation and commissioningCoach and mentor counterparts and subordinates on excellence in the construction industryFoster an innovative environment amongst your team's and those within the EPC contractor to help AESC succeed in accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energyProvide strategic input into the construction organization, setting your teams future up for growth and successIdentify construction-related risks and develop mitigation plansIdentify and track potential field change ordersIdentify potential claims or disputesDocument all field activitiesDevelop construction quality plans and safety plans in conjunction with QA/QC and safety managersSecure resources to support construction supervision and implementation of safety planParticipate during contracting strategy development and contractor selectionReview contractors deliverables and compliance with plans and specificationsWhen Project Director not at site, be the single point of contact with contractors and local stakeholdersRequirements:Relevant qualification in Civil/Industrial EngineeringHave at least 15 years of experience working for global leading companies in supervising and managing the construction of large industrial projects (500m+ capex)Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Process scopesKnowledge of COMAH sites is an advantageAbility to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with challenging timelines and goalsHave an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and willingness to continuously learnAbility to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and executionDriving license
