Were hiring an experienced Project Manager to join a M&E client I'm working with on a 6-month (minimum) contract, delivering high-spec commercial interior fit-out projects across the UK. Key Details:Contract: Full-time freelance (Outside IR35)Duration: 6 months minimumStart Date: ASAPLocation: Office-based in Cambridgeshire, with approx. 1 site visit per week, the rest of your time will be based in the office.Sector: Interior Fit-Out / Commercial Construction Your Responsibilities:Lead fit-out project delivery from pre-construction through to completionCoordinate clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to ensure smooth executionOversee project timelines, procurement, budgets, and quality benchmarksConduct weekly site visits to support on-site teams and review progressHold regular project meetings and maintain accurate reportingEnsure compliance with CDM, HSE regulations, and internal quality standardsResolve technical or operational challenges quickly and professionally Your Background:Proven experience delivering interior fit-out or refurbishment projects (commercial, retail, or hospitality)Strong knowledge of HVAC, M&E, and P&ID in construction environmentsExperience managing complex mechanical and electrical installationsAbility to manage multiple projects with confidence and attention to detailProficiency with MS Project (or equivalent planning tools)Excellent communication and coordination skillsValid UK driving licence and ability to travel weekly for site visits Interested?For immediate consideration, contact: 02922 740 980 tyler.lewis@g2recruitment.com
