This is a specialist role within the Property and Affairs area of Court of Protection work, dealing with complex and high-value estates. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, empathetic solicitor with a genuine interest in Court of Protection work. You should have a strong ability to build lasting client relationships and maintain high professional standards.Key Responsibilities:Independently manage a caseload of Court of Protection matters (Property & Affairs)Work closely with the Deputy, the OPG, clients, and their families to ensure decisions are made in the best interests of the individualPrepare and manage Court applications, including Statutory Will applicationsAttend and represent the Deputy at Court of Protection hearingsInvestigate suspicions of financial abuseHandle estate administration matters where relevantRequirements:23 years PQE in Court of Protection (Property & Affairs)Solid experience in managing files independentlyExcellent organisational and time management abilitiesStrong communication and client-handling skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearlyAttention to detail and a results-oriented mindset
