In this role, you will manage events from start to finish and everything in between and also manage NOFs presence at external events.We are looking for someone with a lot of events experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask across several events. currentlyJob Purpose:Manage and lead on organisation and delivery of NOF and Energi Coast eventsManage NOFs presence at external eventsResponsible for the development and timely issuing of event marketing plansManage and maximise relationships with key event stakeholders and partners including speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, VIP guests etc.Main Duties and Responsibilities: Work with the Head of Commercial to forward plan the successful delivery of NOF (non-flagship activities), Energi Coast, Supply Chain client contracted and NOF presence at External Events.Produce an effective plan with details of venues, suppliers, themes, operational timeline, progress monitoring including the programme of speakers etc. to ensure smooth delivery of all event aspects includingManage all aspects to ensure successful events delivery including effective communications with delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, VIP guests, liaison with stakeholders, partners, external suppliers always ensuring good cost negotiation, team / resources, budget setting / monitoring.Produce an effective event marketing plan that includes impactful key messages that attracts delegates, exhibitors and sponsors for and implementation by the Marketing teamWork with the marketing / design team to create event related collateral such as branded eflyers, programmes, signage, presentation slides, exhibition floorplans, marketing toolkits etc.Delegate effectively to the Events Administrator to ensure all admin tasks are undertaken in a timely & high-quality mannerResponsible for event income generation including conversion and management of sponsorship and exhibition leadsResponsible for maintaining events budgets, masters, P&Ls along with regular forecasts of income and expenditure to realise monthly and year expectations, also, reconciliation with the finance team.Lead on updating, briefing and de-briefing the team where required including post-event actions such as speaker and sponsor thanks and sharing of reports with the NOF team where requiredProject manage set up and dismantle of eventsMonitor internal and external brand use to ensure guidelines being met and communication platforms such as social media for reputation management such as addressing comments where requiredProactively look for new ways to promote events and improve the service offering to add-value to anyone involved including ways to digitise and help reduce NOFs costs and carbon footprintEnsure health, safety and well-being of attendees and the team is prioritised and risk assessment completedContribute to planning meetings as and when requiredOther Duties: Act as Ambassador for NOFSupport with the introduction of new digital systems into the events functionTeam player who can develop strong working relationships internally and externally with members, partners, stakeholdersDevelop knowledge of the energy sector to hold confident conversations with members & partnersUndertake regular personal development activitiesEnsure compliance with NOF procurement procedures and working within limits of authorityInternal champion for internal systems such as CRM, websites, social media etc. continually look for improvements and developments across services and internal systemsMentor / train staff where requiredProactively identify member good news stories and case studies that can be used for publicityDevelop and maintain an active personal profile within the membership and with other industry stakeholdersRepresent the organisation at local, national, and potentially overseas exhibitionsEnsure activities organised by NOF operate within a legal frameworkTime allocated to provide support to the Energi Coast Cluster (owned and operated by NOF)Perform any duties commensurate with the position as required by the Chief ExecutiveKnowledge & Skills Required:Excellent knowledge with experience of organising events (face to face & virtual), event marketing including social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram & Tiktok) and online event tools (Zoom & Microsoft Teams)IT literate with experience of using CRM, Microsoft Office packages and other event related systems such as Eventbrite, Monday.com, Umbraco including the use of AIKnowledge and understanding of GDPR and data compliance with an appreciation of confidentialityExcellent organisational & communication skills, written and oral with an ability to do so at all levelsGood negotiation skills to achieve best costsCreative skills, good eye for detail with an understanding and ability to
