This is a hands-on role for an experienced maker who takes pride in their craft, has excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working collaboratively in a creative environment.Responsibilities:Manufacture of high-quality freestanding and fitted furniture to specificationWork from technical drawings and templates with precision and careOperate machinery and hand tools safely and confidentlyAssist with bespoke commissions and one-off piecesMaintain workshop standards and contribute to a positive working environmentRequirements:Minimum 35 years cabinet making experience (preferably in a high-end or bespoke workshop)Strong woodworking and joinery skills, including use of traditional and modern techniquesAbility to work independently and to tight tolerancesA good understanding of hardwoods and finishesEnthusiastic, reliable, and committed to quality craftsmanshipDesirable:Experience with CNC or CAD-based processes (not essential)An appreciation for contemporary furniture design and the Galvin Brothers aestheticFull driving licenseInclusivity:At Galvin Brothers, we believe that great craftsmanship thrives in an inclusive and respectful environment.
