JOB PURPOSE A factory floor-based role, to support departmental section lead in maintaining departmental loading plans. Responsible for raising exceptions to plan notification monitoring production flow and schedule adherence maximising utilisation of equipment. To work with the planning department on agreeing weekly departmental production plans, based upon demand and capacity. Control all movements of stock withing department. Job requirementsDeliver production order support to shift manager and section leads Support in preparing all relevant documentation to ensure that all department machine plans are maintained. Support in the creation of exception forms, highlighting corrective actions to be taken within packing and communicate information to relevant stakeholders. Release production orders as required according to production plan. Control Stock and all movements of products within department . Locate and reunite parts to relevant production orders . Monitor production flow and supply accurate ETA dates. Attend and actively engage in departmental planning meetings Deliver daily production reporting and update information to section leads at DSUM. Comply fully with current health and safety and environmental regulations in operation within the company while carrying out duties. Responsible for inventory of departmental production supply areas and consumables. Issuing and requesting Standard Transfer Orders. Carry out any reasonable task which falls within your capabilities. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE Embrace behavioural based safety and environmental adherence, focus on “see it, sort it, report it” methodology to deal with immediate safety concerns and proactively take ownership of personal safety and for the safety of colleagues. Ensure highest performance and production plan achievement. Drive improvement in all facets of the department and site.
