This post is currently funded as a fixed term post with the possibility that the post may become permanent after the fixed term period.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist team providing vascular access to the trust. You will be responsible for providing a high quality holistic service for patients who require Vascular Access, Trust wide.If you are expert in cannulation and have a passion for vascular access but require clinical skills development, speak to us about the possibilities of a Band 5/6 development post.Please contact us if you have any further questions by email to Charlotte Davies - Charlotte.aitken@Provide vascular access services to the trust. Promote high standards of patient care. Utilise specialist knowledge and skills in the provision of vascular access. Provide nursing leadership and effectively manage and support staff. Reduce clinical risk to patients with CVCs in non-specialist areas within the Trust, provide telephone support and advice to patients and healthcare professionals. Participate in educating staff in the care and management of CVCs. Co-ordinate and prioritise the provision of care. Act with professionalism and integrity. Provide a service that is tailored to meet the needs of the individual, to understand what our patients need and be adaptable and responsive. Work as part of a team demonstrating effective communication and working collaboratively with colleagues inside and out of the department. Be curious and creative about new possibilities, whilst identifying what works well and to do more of it. Help to develop and foster a learning environment where feedback is welcomed and valued. Providing expert care to patients and expert advice to colleagues.
