A highly regarded GP surgery in Weymouth, Dorset rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and recognized for exceptional patient satisfaction, is seeking a dedicated and friendly Medical Receptionist to join their dynamic team.Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.You will be part of a supportive environment focused on delivering exceptional care, with a well-organized day setup and a diverse, hard-working, and experienced team.Location: Weymouth, Dorset Position: Medical Receptionist Salary: 12.2514 per hour DOE Hours: Full-Time Typical Responsibilities Reception Duties: Greet patients, manage appointments, handle telephone inquiries, and provide information about services.Administrative Support: Assist with filing, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining patient records.Prescription Management: Process repeat prescriptions and manage prescription requests.Patient Assistance: Help patients with queries and ensure they are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional.Desirable Experience MUST have experience in a GP/NHS/Primary Care setting.Familiarity with SystmOne, the clinical system used by the practice.Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of clinical workflows.Essential Qualifications & Experience Reception or Customer Service Certificates or equivalent experience in similar roles.GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above).Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with good typing and keyboard skills.MUST have experience as a medical receptionist.Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of 12.2514 per hour, depending on experience.Full-time hours with a set weekly working pattern.Supportive and friendly team environment.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.Ready to Apply?
