Job Title: Locum Cath Lab Radiographer (Band 6) Location: North London Rate: 30 per hour Job Type: Locum Contract Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Job Summary: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 Cath Lab Radiographer to join a busy cardiac catheterisation unit in North London on a locum basis .Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.This role involves supporting a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures including angiography, pacemaker and ICD implants, and PCI.The ideal candidate will have prior cath lab experience and be confident working within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality imaging support during cardiac catheterisation procedures.Operate specialist X-ray equipment in line with radiation safety protocols.Work alongside cardiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care.Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.Assist with patient preparation and recovery as required.Participate in weekday shifts, with occasional on-call or weekend availability desirable (but not essential).Candidate Requirements: Essential: BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.HCPC registered.Minimum of 612 months experience working in a cath lab setting.Competent in using fluoroscopy systems for interventional cardiology.Strong team player with good communication skills.Desirable: Previous NHS experience in a cath lab environment.Experience with systems such as Siemens Artis, GE Innova, or Philips Azurion.IV cannulation certification.Why Apply?
