We are on the hunt for a proven Crime/ Security professional who is looking for a chance to join a leading, London based transport provider. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the London Overground is a safe place for customers and workers alike! What you’ll be doing: You will lead on protecting our people, passengers, and revenue by shaping security strategies and driving crime prevention across our network. This individual will work as a champion, focussing on safer stations by achieving and maintaining Secure Stations Accreditation across all ARL locations. The Revenue Protection, Crime & Stakeholder Manager will be at the heart of crisis readiness, overseeing robust safety, incident response, and compliance with key legislation and security frameworks. You will act as the strategic link to key partners including British Transport Police, Department for Transport, TfL, Network Rail, and private security contractors. Ensuring that Arriva Rail London meet the highest standards in national security compliance requirements will be another key part of this role. You will support and empower local teams, providing expert guidance to managers on implementing best-practice security procedures. This individual will drive excellence in contractor performance, ensuring security and CCTV providers meet contractual and professional standards. Inspiring a culture of safety and security will be another key part of this role, leading internal campaigns and training to raise awareness and encourage open dialogue. You will work as a representative of Arriva Rail London externally, attending taskforce meetings, industry forums, and community outreach events to reduce crime and promote railway safety. This individual will have full ownership of our CCTV strategy and will utilise their Continuous Mindset, enhancing this strategy as required. What we need from you: You will need to have proven experience in crime prevention, security operations, and revenue protection, ideally within transport, police, military, or security sectors. Strong knowledge of railway and transport safety legislation is essential, including Counter Terrorism Awareness (CTA), PACE, and TfL/Railway byelaws. This individual requires hands-on experience managing security or service contracts, ensuring high performance and accountability from providers. You will need to be confident in crisis and incident management, with a solid understanding of event safety and emergency response planning. Working knowledge of CCTV, Body Worn Cameras, and Subject Access Request legislation will be essential for this role, to support safety and data governance. You will need to have a keen understanding of operational safety procedures and best practices across regulated transport environments. This individual will need to have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve outcomes. Excellent leadership and motivational skills is a key requirement for this role, with a track record of building strong internal and external relationships. You will need to have the ability to navigate and apply complex security legislation, ensuring compliance while supporting business needs. Strong experience in conflict resolution and dealing with challenging or sensitive security matters confidently and professionally. You will need to be a customer-focused individual who is always acting with integrity and a commitment to public and staff safety. This individual will need to be a highly organised self-starter, able to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under pressure. Exceptional communication skills are essential with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to influence at all levels.
