You’ll have the opportunity to thrive and we’ll help you shape your career whether through further qualification, learning new skills or whatever else you need to achieve your ambitions.You Will Be Responsible For Or Assist WithTo work in a team, assisting in the production of technically sound engineering solutions, complying with all relevant technical standards and client requirements General office duties associated with the smooth running of a consulting engineering business Working on site, either on a visiting basis or in a full time but temporary role and including out of hours working. Expected to meet any budget targets and deadlines set by their manager but will have no responsibility for the financial performance of the projectWhat You Will Bring To UsLevel 3, 4 or 5 qualification in an appropriate subject, i.e. a Level 3 Diploma, HNC, HND or a foundation degree Engineering Technician (EngTech) status already held or to be gained whilst in the role Vocational qualifications and competencies as determined by the requirements of the role, e.g. Bridge Inspector Certification Scheme (BICS), Network Rail STE competency, Personal Track Safety (PTS), Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers’ Association (PASMA), confined spaces, asbestos awareness, working at height etc Able to demonstrate basic technical and professional skills within the relevant technical discipline, probably gained during higher education and possibly supplemented by a period of industrial placement or vacation work or through successful completion of a relevant Level 3 ApprenticeshipWhat We Can Offer YouAt Amey, we recognise that our biggest asset is our people.
