An established and forward-thinking accountancy and advisory practice in Norwich is seeking a Personal Tax Director to take a senior leadership position within its expanding tax department. This is a key appointment offering the chance to work with an exceptional client base and make a significant contribution to both client strategy and firm growth. You’ll be joining a progressive firm that values expertise, collaboration, and continuous development with a strong reputation for technical excellence and long-standing client relationships. Role Responsibilities Lead and grow the personal tax service line, managing client delivery, team performance, and profitability Act as the strategic adviser to a wide variety of private clients, offering tailored tax planning and mitigation strategies Oversee complex compliance work and ensure high standards of technical accuracy and client care Develop and mentor a team of tax professionals, encouraging a culture of learning and progression Collaborate with partners and other departments to deliver joined-up advice across the business Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives, supporting the growth of the firm’s private client offering Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and share insights across the team and client base About the Firm This is a strategic and client-facing role for a technically proficient and commercially astute tax professional. You’ll be leading a talented personal tax team, overseeing compliance and advisory services for a wide-ranging client portfolio that includes high-net-worth individuals, business owners, trusts, landed estates, and non-UK domiciled individuals. Your leadership will help shape the future direction of the team and support the delivery of high-value, forward-thinking advice.
