You must evidence through call audit the safe practical application of NHS Pathways in a call handling environment.You must've passed probation hold an NHS PathwaysCoaching qualificationand be able to demonstrate practical experience in the coaching and mentoring role either having supported student EMAs, or existing EMAs on mentoring plans and supervised diamonds pods or a combination of both.Main duties of the jobThe successful candidates will support the duty EMA Team Leader, in the delivery of high quality call taking and support robust 999 call answer times by setting the standard all staff aspire to both in terms of own quality but efficiency levels as well. You will undertake core call handling duties and be expected to provide in line support to the on duty regional EMA team over the phone, as well as supporting EMA’s directly in your own EOC with challenging and distressing cases. You will provide adhoc cover of the EMATL when they are absence from the EOC for breaks or meetings.SeniorEMA’s must work a minimum of 18.75 hours a weekto provide consistency in the role, and be prepared to offer short notice flexibility from time to time to support student EMA’s within diamond pods.Working for our organisationCurrent SECAmb employee, by applying for this position, if successful you will move to the terms and conditions associated with the post.
