This includes processing payrolls and providing technical support and advice on matters pertaining to payroll systems for our clients.What We OfferSalary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum (depending on experience) Great benefit package Remote/Hybrid (there will be a requirement to attend the Kettering office Supportive and Inclusive work culture The opportunity to thrive with a growing businessWhat You’ll Be DoingAs Payroll Consultant, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all salary, PAYE, BACS, and pension payments are accurate and on time. You'll maintain up-to-date payroll records in line with legislation and client-specific requirements and liaise directly with client contacts to confirm data accuracy and resolve any payroll queries. Your responsibilities will also include handling all payroll administration such as setting up new starters, updating HMRC tax codes, processing student loans, and managing attachments of earnings.You'll also calculate statutory and termination payments, manually verify entitlements, process holiday pay, salary increases, and back pay. You'll manage P11Ds, payrolling benefits, RTI and Year End submissions, including P60s. Supporting the Payroll Manager and team, you’ll contribute ideas for improving processes and assist with system updates, migrations, reconciliations, and implementations. A friendly, professional manner and strict confidentiality are key as you interact with staff, clients, and external visitors.About YouWe’re looking for an experienced payroll professional, ideally CIPP qualified, who can confidently run end-to-end payroll for multiple clients, including producing P11Ds and P60s. Experience with payroll systems (we use SAGE), handling client queries, and working with third-party providers like pension schemes is essential. You should be confident with HMRC and BACS setups and have strong skills in Word and Excel. You’ll need to be detail-oriented, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
