With growth occurring both organically and through acquisition, alongside the strong core values that resonate throughout the business, this really has become an employer of choice, and you could become part of their journey.Sat within a thriving business unit, this position will report to the Head of Finance and have responsibility for managing the financial operations for the Venues division.The role requires a highly organised, self-motivated and proactive qualified accountant enjoys managing a team and likes a fast paced environment.This is a fantastic role to work within a thriving creative organisation where you will really feel part of the team!Responsibilities of the role include:Lead, develop and mentor a small team;Prepare monthly management accounts to include full P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflows, and Variance Analysis;Ownership of the financial reporting for some of the venues, including building stakeholder relationshipsAssist with the year end audit process and quarterly VAT Returns;Assist with the annual budgeting & forecasting process including reforecasting and variance;Manage the quarterly cashflow forecastingManage intercompany accountsBusiness Partner Venue Management on financial performance, risks & opportunitiesCandidate Specification:Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with at least 3 year experience working as a Senior Management Accountant/Finance Manager;Experience of managing and developing a finance teamExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who is confident, enthusiastic and adaptableAbility to work in a fast paced environment, ideally with multi-site experienceDynamic, enthusiastic, self starter who is willing to go the extra mile to make a differenceExperience ideally gained within an entertainment, live, theatre or hospitality experience would be preferableExcellent attention to detail, organised, logical and methodicalPlease note only suitable applicants will be contacted regarding this position.
