Along with the Head of Systems Engineering, you will be responsible for expanding our systems engineering capability with our vehicle business.Day-to-day, youll be responsible for leading systems engineering activities to ensure vehicles are deployed at the desired level of performance to our customers and meet all applicable regulatory requirements.Define and manage system requirements and ensure traceability throughout the development processProvide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycleDevelop and maintain system-level documentationManage risk and identify mitigation strategies to address technical challengesConduct reviews and audits of system engineering to verify complianceThis role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and can be delivered from various locations including Bristol, Plymouth, Walsall and London alongside home working arrangements.Experience Required of the Senior Systems EngineerGood level of systems engineering experienceIdeally have experience of leading systems engineering activitiesBackground in Automotive and/or defence industry advantageousQualifications for the Senior Systems EngineerHNC / HND or Degree in relevant engineering subjectSecurity ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
