Identifying potential problems early before they cause failures.Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:General maintenance for site & facilityMachine repair covering Makino/Mazak/Matsuura/OkumaTotal Preventive Maintenance (TPM) to cover all machining centresRunning machine capability studiesArranging and management of repairs/machine breakdown with contractorsPlanning and scheduling machine servicingPlanning and scheduling calibration for inspection electronic measuring equipmentLOLER safety equipment checks on all lifting equipmentRaising purchase orders and negotiating priceBudget managementMaintenance Engineer Qualifications & Experience:Experience of Engineering within a manufacturing environmentGood machine repair knowledgeExperience and skills in set-up of precision assemblies, the use of machine tools, fault finding and problem solvingGeometric checks on work centres (desirable)Maintenance Engineer Skills & Behaviours:Great attention to detailStrong communication skillsAble to plan and organise workloadFlexible approach to duties and tasksCan work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAbility to work well within a team environmentCapable of using own initiativeGood problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft officeWhats in it for you?Full time, permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a two-shift rotation, covering early and backshiftsAttractive rate of pay plus shift allowanceYoull gain access to the following company benefits: pension, life insurance, private medical healthcare, prescription protection eyewear, employee retail discountsYou will receive 33 days holiday per year which includes a Christmas closureAccess to online learning platforms to support your developmentYoull have ample opportunities to grow and develop within the team, while working in a supportive and collaborative environmentInterested?
