We're currently supporting them in their search for a Senior Estimator to join their team at their head office.This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Estimator to join a forward-thinking and people-centric business known for its craftsmanship, collaborative culture, and passion for quality builds. The organisation works across a range of sectors including luxury private residential, education, heritage, leisure, and commercial schemes, with project values ranging up to 70 million. The Role:As Senior Estimator, youll take ownership of multiple tenders and play a key role in securing work for the business. Youll work closely with Pre-Construction, Commercial, and Operations teams to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, whilst mentoring junior team members and improving processes.Key responsibilities include:Leading allocated tenders from start to finishAssessing tender opportunities and deciding on bid strategiesPreparing and coordinating subcontractor and supplier enquiriesLiaising with Design, Contracts, and Commercial teams for input into method statements and programmingAttending site visits to assess access and project constraintsManaging handovers to delivery teams on successful tendersSupporting continuous improvement of estimating processes and documentation What Youll Need:A relevant construction-related degree or equivalent experienceStrong background in estimating within the construction industryExcellent knowledge of contracts, SMM7/NRM2, and relevant estimating software (e.g., Conquest/Causeway)High level of attention to detail and strong time managementConfident communicator with the ability to lead bids and mentor others Whats On Offer:Up to 90,000 salary depending on experienceCar allowancePrivate medical insurance for you and your partnerEnhanced pension contributions25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with service)Life assurance (4x salary)Paid professional memberships, development days and training opportunitiesAccess to electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemesStrong culture of wellbeing and employee supportThis is a great opportunity to step into a senior role where your input will be truly valued and your career will be supported.
