Kotn was founded in Toronto by three best friends, who were fed up with compromising on quality, design, sustainability, brand experience, and price.Kotn is looking for a BOH (back-of-house) Associate to support the efficient operation of our stores back-end processes. As an essential part of the Retail Operations team, you will ensure all inventory, deliveries, and stockroom activities are handled accurately and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity, integral to the growth and success of Kotns Retail Business.What youll be working on:Stockroom & Logistics Operations (40%)Handle deliveries and shipments, including scheduling and tracking shipmentsAssist with the preparation of inventory audits and regular stock countsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards in the stockroom and storage areasMonitor product quality, report damaged goods, and handle returns or defective productsReceive, unpack, and organize merchandiseMonitor and maintain the stockroom by organizing products and suppliesEnsure timely and accurate restocking of merchandise on the sales floorPrepare merchandise for floor setsSupporting the Sales Floor (30%)Provide the sales team with quick and accurate information regarding stock availabilityEnsure products are available for customers when neededRun product from BOH to FOH to support customer purchases and restockingBe customer-focused, and prepared to support customer service and sales at all times i.e. operate the cash register, greet customers, support customers in the fitting room, etc.Customer Experience & Service (30%)Customer-facing every day, provide best-in-class customer service experience to our customers, fielding questions and providing upbeat, customized experienceProcess cash operations with efficiency and accuracy by capturing customer opt-in to leverage for future marketing opportunities and to finalize the in-store experience loopProvide the sales team with quick and accurate information regarding stock availabilityEnsure products are available for customers when needed, running product from BOH to FOH to support customer purchases and restockingVisual Merchandising(30%)Provide the sales team with quick and accurate information regarding stock availabilityExecute early morning and late evening store merchandisingSuggestion: Support and execute store visual merchandising in alignment with corporate standards and directivesEarly morning and late evening stipulation can be in the additional requirements?What youll bring:Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, organize stock, and meet deadlines efficiently.Excellent eye for detail when handling inventory to ensure accuracy in stock management.Collaborates well with others to maintain stockroom efficiency and ensure smooth coordination with the sales team.Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or stock issues quickly and effectivelyAdditional Requirements:Previous experience in a retail or stockroom role (preferred)Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes, as required by company needsBasic computer skills for managing inventory systemsFlexible schedule with weekend availability
